Injecting RESTful WCF services into Umbraco for jQuery AJAX
My new blog is based on Umbraco 4.7.1.1 and I needed a custom REST WCF service for jQuery to load up my last 20 tweets. I wanted to do this with AJAX so as not to increase the page load time, and I wanted the WCF service to be inside the Umbraco web application.
I have many years experience developing applications in various technologies commercially for companies ranging from small businesses to global corporations.
As well as being a career, software development has been my hobby for over 25 years, during which time I have had exposure to a vast array of languages, techniques and technology.
